She is also a qualified Midwife and specialises in Complementary Therapies for the pregnant client in order to promote relaxation and relief of many pregnancy related conditions and birth preparation, including Moxibustion for breech presentation and treatment for post dates that may help induce labour. Amanda 's philosophy is to ensure the safe use of Complementary Therapies for pregnancy. She practices in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire areas. Amanda also works as a Senior Research Midwife/trial coordinator and has been involved in a number of Obstetric and Gynaecology clinical trials to include SNAP, Pearls, Preview, EffectM, Poppy, Opptimum, Femme Medal, Twin to Twin, Prep, Merdian, Empire, Easeback, Vue, MiQuit, Salvo, Phoenix, Prism, Pitches and many others. Her prime responsibilities include co-ordinating, setting up and recruitment for NIHR portfolio studies within the Comprehensive Local Research Network (CLRN). Amanda is vey much interested in pursuing her own research into the use of Complementary Therapies and pregnancy. Update description
